Human Resources Manager

Department: Human Resources
Location: Cincinnati, OH

As a key member of the Nitto Avecia corporate HR team, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all functional areas of HR, with a focus on building our culture and developing people practices, aligned with our business strategy. The position consults with employees and managers to address root cause analysis of human resources matters and works closely with the local management team to develop and implement strategies to address these issues. This position will report into the VP of Human Resources.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for implementation and administration of human resources policies, benefits and practices for the Cincinnati location.
  • Leads and coordinates the orientation and onboarding process.
  • Administers compensation programs that enable the organization to attract and retain talent, including the establishment of market salary data ..
  • Leads benefits planning and administration including coordination of annual open enrollment,
  • Coordinates the process of performance management and provides day to day guidance to management and employees to ensure deadlines are met.
  • The incumbent will serve as the HR functional expert providing functional expertise to other Nitto Avecia sites for specific areas of HR expertise,


  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of HR generalist experience and 1-3 years of supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience with implementation of core HR areas - benefits, policies, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and integrated HRIS, etc.
  • Experience managing relationships with vendors and/or consultants in the delivery of HR services
  • Coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, and problem solving is a must
  • PHR or SPHR certification a plus
